Re: Bread
I didn’t have enough flour to make bread the other night. I started this version of the NYTimes’ “no-knead bread” yesterday. The dough has to sit overnight. There were a lot of things that did not go right in the process of making this bread. For example: I ruined a perfectly good cotton towel, The bread is not in a taut “ball shape” and some of the dough stuck to the sides of the bowl. I am holding out hope that all of these things will only cause cosmetic problems. I find out in ten minutes.
